Prior to starting in the Education Policy and Management program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, I worked at Coalition for Community Schools for two years as the National Policy Emerson Fellow from the Netter Center for Community Partnerships at the University of Pennsylvania. I supported the Coalition’s policy efforts at the federal and state level, coordinated the Coalition’s communications and media efforts, and managed the Community Schools Coordinators network. I also co-authored a report on “The Convergence of Community Schools and Expanded Learning Opportunities.”

Prior to joining the Coalition, I worked with West Philadelphia public schools and have also worked with education organizations in Tanzania, East Africa and the Social Financial Services Department at Ashoka in Washington, DC. I graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science in Economics.
